Seminar on “The Control of Public Expenditure and Mobilization of Domestic Resources: What Spending Management Mechanisms to be put in Place to Improve Public Revenue and Control Public Spending?”

Generally, the seminar aims at identifying and analysing strategies for the mobilization and management of public revenue in order to improve and control, sustainably, preparation tools, execution and budget tracking of State. It also has the following specific objectives:
• Strengthen capacities and strategies of management policy design for domestic resource mobilization;
• Identify and master the new tools of reform, strengthen systems and control and prevention structures of public property;
• Contribute to the modernization of the financial programming;
• Define together a comprehensive strategy aiming to promote the effectiveness and efficiency of Public Action by a healthy and dynamic management of public finances (including the priority given in expenditure to investments in the development of human resources and infrastructure) as part of the modernization of the Administration and African public institutions;
• Associate CAFRAD in assisting its Member States in their implementation efforts mechanisms and management tools of public expenditure and operationalization of accountable public governance through accountability and Results-based management.
