The African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD) has the honor of announcing the publishing of our latest issue. It is the 84th issue of the publication “African Administrative Studies”, a bilingual, semi-annual academic journal gathering a series of researches and studies on relevant questions and current subjects regarding the Public Sector and the Governance in Africa, in accordance with CAFRAD’s field of work.
Dedicated to the study, research, dissemination and exchange of knowledge and information on all aspects of public administration and management, this academic work brings together a dozen of scientific articles written by researchers, experts and scholars from different African countries. In that respect, the result is a diverse scientific journal with an eclectic content, revolving around currents themes and topics that are directly related to the domains of public administration.
The 84th’s articles’ issues vary between the individual-organization aspect in the recruitment process in the public sector in Cameroon, water-rights in Tchad and the issue of drinking water access for the population as a whole, think-tanks and the public policy diffusion in Nigeria, the appropriation of substantial formalities by the Audit Chamber of Cameroon, among many other subjects.
This issue follows CAFRAD’s primary mission. Indeed, through its numerous initiatives, CAFRAD aims to train and inform, equip and provide the governments of African countries, as well as the relevant organizations, the necessary support in their efforts of modernization, transformation, reinforcement of capacities and innovation in the public administration for a sustainable development, in order to encourage a effective public service that is adapted to the needs of the population.
